Venue: Hallington Lakes (Hallington Reservoirs on some maps) are 2 miles east of the A68, 7 miles north of Corbridge. Take the first right 1/3rd of a mile north after Colwell on the B6342. The narrow tarmac lane is marked Private. Postcode: NE46 4TP

The session is open to three anglers on a ‘first come/served’ basis. This offer is available to anyone who has not previously been a member of WFFC (full or trial member).

Thursday September 28th (2pm – 4.30pm)

Session content –
This 2.5-hour session will be led by our highly qualified club lead coach Barry Mitchell – Game Angling Instructors Association (GAIA) and Fly Fishers International (FFI) and will cover basic Overhead and Roll casts, etiquette when fishing Hallington then fishing with barbless hooks for approx. 1.5 hours
Each angler to receive, during this time, supervision and guiding from Barry.

Cost: £15 pp to include the fishing session of either catch and release (three fish limit) and/or catch and keep (one fish limit). Cheques made payable to Westwater Angling Ltd or by cash on the day.
Tea/coffee and biscuits will be provided.

Licence – If you are not in possession of a current rod fishing licence, we can provide one for the day (free of charge) – please indicate at the time of booking,
Tackle – if you do not possess any tackle, we will provide all that you need except for waders. The sessions are all from the bank and waders are advised although a good pair of wellingtons would suffice.
