OPENING DAY 2025

The first day of the 2025 season saw beautiful sunshine and a carpark full of enthusiastic anglers.

Fortified by a hearty breakfast of bacon butties expertly cooked by Fisheries Manager, Ian Scott alongside directors Steve Hair and Tom Marley.
with excellent whiskies supplied by Tom Marley and Jim Chambers, Jim as Chairman proceeded to bless the Lakes.

39 anglers then went on to catch 196 trout. An average of 5 fish per angler!
The East Lake saw 133 rainbows caught and 1 brown trout.
The West Lake saw 61 rainbows and 1 brown trout trout caught.

A dramatic improvement on the opening day for the 2024 season where 16 anglers caught 89 fish.
The opening day for the 2023 season saw 12 anglers catch 34 fish.
